Join us for our 'Spring' Capri Terrace Neighborhood Watch meeting Sunday Mar 13th at 3PM to discuss issues we feel are important to our safety, and hear our special guest speaker from Gresham Citizens in Policing Greoup discussing "The what's what in our neighborhood", followed by a brief Q & A.
Who should attend?
This meeting is open to all neighbors in the vicinity of NE Hoyt St (between NE 167th Pl and NE 169th Ave), and NE Oregon St (between NE 166th Ave and NE 171st Ave), and NE 167th Place (between NE Glisan and NE Oregon St). Get Map!

Meeting Details
Draft Development Code changes are available on the Planning Commission web page. These have been updated since the Feb. 9 version.
The Planning Commission will review and discuss the Code amendments at its March 14 meeting (the public is invited).
The Code changes are addressing the following issues:
- Height and bulk of new homes
- Height transitions (between single-family homes and more intense uses such as commercial uses, apartments or condominiums)
- Flag lots (homes built behind other homes)
- Buffering and screening between developments
- How small-lot subdivisions are reviewed
- Quality/appearance of fences along streets

A delightful 1874 Victorian farmhouse
Take a step back into history at the Zimmerman House, a Victorian era farmhouse, built in 1874 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This beautiful farmhouse is a perfect reflection of typical Columbia River dairy farm life in the late 1800s. The Zimmerman Heritage Farm is a unique cultural education and recreational resource that is being created for the benefit of the public on a 5.98-acre historic site in Gresham, Oregon.
Open house and tours are available the third Saturday of each month 10AM-3PM.

Be prepared to get a little dirty and to have fun by supporting and volunteering with Friends of Nadaka and Wilkes East Neighborhood Association in their efforts to restore this natural area by removing invasive underbrush and ivy.
Rain or Shine! Come dressed for weather and help improve Nadaka Nature Park. Bring working gloves & a water bottle if you have them. Volunteer as long as you can.
Coffee, juice, water & refreshments provided by Wilkes East Neighborhood.
No pre-registration required. Volunteers younger than 18 will need a signed waiver (available at the event).
