After the years of dreaming, grant writing, meeting, planning, permitting, and designing --- construction will soon be underway!

Help us to turn the dirt and celebrate building the park and garden including nature play space, paths, benches, meadow, and picnic shelter. Light refreshments will be served.

Join us on another great Ten Toe Express walk throughout inner-city Portland sponsored by the Portland Bureau of Transportation. The Ten Toe Express program is a series of guided walks held Thursdays @ 6PM and Saturdays @ 9AM from May 10th through September 28th 2013.

Each easy and informal Ten Toe Express walk explores the area neighborhood, architecture and unique history. Walk takes about 2 hours, cover 2-4 miles and are open to all ages and skill levels. Did we mention it's free!

Let's Go Walking! When: Tue Jul 29, 2014 8AM-5PM Where: Memaloose Lake Trail Hike Meet at: Gresham City Hall 1333 NW Eastman Pwy Gresham, OR Get Map!

This is a three-mile round-trip hike that starts within a single, isolated square mile of ancient forest located just 20 miles east of Estacada off Highway 224. The result of a long-vanished glacier, this “cirque’s” steep walls make it seem as though the big woods extend forever. Several varieties of wildflowers blanket the forest floor. We will stop at the Cazadero Inn restaurant for lunch, so bring along a snack and water. Hiking boots are recommended.

• Round-trip travel: 82 miles
• Difficulty: Easy/moderate
• Elevation gain: 700 feet
• Suggested donation per hiker: $8

Public welcome
The Coalition of Gresham Neighborhood Associations was formed to provide structure and support for the leadership of Gresham's neighborhood associations, enabling more effective cooperation among neighborhood associations in order to achieve desired outcomes. Goals of the Coalition include providing a public forum for the review and evaluation of issues and problems, providing education and information on specific areas such as land use, and providing a unified voice for the neighborhood associations.

The Coalition meets monthly on the second Tuesday at 7:00PM
