Ten years ago voters approved a 20-year urban renewal district bond measure to rebuild the Rockwood Town Center after Fred Meyer closed. Now, with just ten years remaining, millions spent and no viable plan, what will become of Rockwood?
Community Forum
You're invited to attend a community forum for the Central Rockwood Plan Update. This project is intended to ensure the community’s vision for Rockwood can be achieved, and that the rules in place are not a barrier to the desired urban form. The forum will introduce the project, share identified issues, and ask for input on additional issues to study.
Your input is invaluable since you have unique expertise in how the community operates, where improvements may be made, and what is currently working well.

As the holiday's draw to a close, here's a few tips for proper disposal of unwanted wrapping paper, wreaths and trees!
Holiday Recycling Questions

Non-paper wrapping material should not go in the blue roll carts. Most “foil-like” paper is metallic ink on paper and is accepted with recycling. - Can present ribbons be recycled in the blue cart?
Non-paper ribbons are not accepted (very few ribbons are paper-based).Plenty more tips below this break!

Gresham city officials want to hear from the public about the design of the new Rockwood police station. Project architects want to gather community preferences to guide the aesthetics of the new building.
This will be an interactive, drop-in style event (it’s fine to come anytime between 6 and 7:30) with the project architect on-hand. The purpose of the event is to give the design team a good sense of what the community’s preferences regarding the appearance of the building exterior and grounds.
Plan to attend this visioning event and share your ideas for this important addition to our neighborhood.
