One way to stay warm, of course, is to keep active, and Gresham Parks has lots of activities coming up to get you out of the house and to keep the winter blahs at bay!

The City Council will have their policy discussion of the Council Citizen Advisory Committees (CCACs) restructuring. This meeting had been scheduled for last week but was delayed two weeks
Willamette Bridges Need Repair, Town Hall: Jan 31, 2008
Town halls focus on funding for Willametter River bridge repairs

Multnomah County has scheduled a series of town hall meetings to present information on the condition of its Willamette River bridges and a proposal to fund their repair.
County Chair Ted Wheeler will share information on the county’s 20-year capital shortfall of $490 million for its six bridges across the Willamette.

Coalition Elects New Officers, Outlines Coming Months
The Coalition of Gresham Neighborhood Associations held its annual Election of Officers on Wednesday, January 9, 2008. The newly elected Board shared detailed plans for the coming year, and outlined the next few months scheduled presentations.
The Coalition meets monthly on the second Wednesday at 7:00PM in the Springwater Trail Room, Gresham City Hall, 1333 NW Eastman Parkway, Gresham, OR 97030.
The Coalition of Gresham Neighborhood Associations was formed to provide structure and support for the leadership of Gresham's neighborhood associations
DEQ approves Owens Corning insulation plant in Gresham
New plant opening 2009; to employ 35

The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality approved Owens Corning's revised plans to produce insulation in Gresham, granting the company a permit to finish construction and start production.
DEQ's decision last week comes after years of environmental controversy about the plant.
