Let's Go Walking! When: Tue Oct 28, 2014 8:30AM-3PM Where: Punch Bowl Falls Hike Meet at: Gresham City Hall 1333 NW Eastman Pwy Gresham, OR Get Map!

This 4.2-mile hike is the most popular trail in the Columbia River Gorge. The trail is good, but narrow in some places, and some heights are involved. Punch Bowl Falls is one of the most photographed falls in Oregon. Hiking boots and poles are recommended. Bring a lunch to eat along the trail.

• Round-trip travel: 65 miles
• Difficulty: Moderate
• Elevation gain: About 400 feet
• Suggested donation per hiker: $8

Thanks to the community’s support and a partnership between the City of Gresham, the East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District and Metro, a unique 33-acre natural area near Grant Butte in Gresham has been protected for future generations.

Public welcome
The Coalition of Gresham Neighborhood Associations was formed to provide structure and support for the leadership of Gresham's neighborhood associations, enabling more effective cooperation among neighborhood associations in order to achieve desired outcomes. Goals of the Coalition include providing a public forum for the review and evaluation of issues and problems, providing education and information on specific areas such as land use, and providing a unified voice for the neighborhood associations.

The Coalition meets monthly on the second Tuesday at 7:00PM

Join us on another great Ten Toe Express walk throughout inner-city Portland sponsored by the Portland Bureau of Transportation. The Ten Toe Express program is a series of guided walks held Thursdays @ 6PM and Saturdays @ 9AM from May 10th through September 28th 2013.

Each easy and informal Ten Toe Express walk explores the area neighborhood, architecture and unique history. Walk takes about 2 hours, cover 2-4 miles and are open to all ages and skill levels. Did we mention it's free!

Join us for our 'Summer' Capri Terrace Neighborhood Watch meeting Saturday Sep 13 at 3PM. It's been a while since we've had a get together. So let's renew acquaintances, make new ones, and share concerns. There is no formal agenda for this meeting other than sharing food and fellowship.

Who should attend?
This meeting is open to all neighbors in the vicinity of NE Hoyt St (between NE 167th Pl and NE 169th Ave), and NE Oregon St (between NE 166th Ave and NE 171st Ave), and NE 167th Place (between NE Glisan and NE Oregon St). Get Map!

"Yum! Food!" Kris Friermuth is making Sloppy Joe's! If you'd like to bring a salad or dessert that would be great. If you can't, just bring yourselves. There's always plenty to eat!
