Join the Celebration & Sing-A-Long!
Join the thousands of Portlanders as we gather at the Square to celebrate the official start to the holiday season by lighting the spectacular 75ft Tree provided by Stimson Lumber Company. This year’s 31st annual event will feature a holiday sing-a-long curated by Thomas Lauderdale with members of Pink Martini, The Pacific Youth Choir, The von Trapps, and more. Tree Lighting
The 24th Annual Spirit of Christmas tree lighting – one of the community’s most popular events – rings in Gresham’s holiday season with a family-friendly program that includes music, photos with Santa, refreshments and the lighting of the 60-foot ponderosa pine on the Arts Plaza. The program gets underway at 5PM, with the tree-lighting at 6PM.

Downtown Gresham will also be hosting a full day of other holiday activities. (Schedule TBA)

The Rockwood Farmers Market is a community-focused market featuring fresh produce from local farms in a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere. WIC, SNAP and Farm Direct coupons are accepted. Use your EBT funds at the market and we'll match the first $5 so you have even more money to spend on fresh fruits and vegetables to bring home! The Market is a collaboration of Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon’s Interfaith Food & Farms Partnership and the Rockwood Co-op.

Join us on another great Ten Toe Express walk throughout inner-city Portland sponsored by the Portland Bureau of Transportation. The Ten Toe Express program is a series of guided walks held Thursdays @ 6PM and Saturdays @ 9AM from May 07th through September 19th 2015.

Each easy and informal Ten Toe Express walk explores the area neighborhood, architecture and unique history. Walk takes about 2 hours, cover 2-4 miles and are open to all ages and skill levels. Did we mention it's free!
