Megamind was only an infant when his parents loaded him into an emergency escape pod and jettisoned him into space just as their planet was being sucked into a black hole. His destination: planet Earth.

Pictures in the Park presents a free family movie night series on the Arts Plaza in downtown Gresham. Live music on the plaza begins at 7:00 p.m., and movie showtime is at dusk -- approximately 8:00 p.m.

Bring a blanket to sit on and a picnic, or stop by one of downtown Gresham's many restaurants or cafes to pick up dinner to-go. Please note that pets, alcohol and smoking are not allowed. Blankets or low-back chairs are recommended. The event may be canceled in the event of inclement weather.

Join Greater Gresham Area Prevention Partnership (ggapp) for their second year of "Cinema Under the Stars!" This year they will be showing a series of free family-friendly movies fun for all ages.

Deciding that Maria needs to learn something about the real world before she can take her vows, the Mother Superior (Peggy Wood) sends her off to be governess for the children of the widowed sea Captain.

A Fundrasing Event
The Wilkes East Neighborhood clean-up is WENA's only fundraising event. WENA uses these funds to support WENA activities and projects and assist Wilkes East Neighborhood residents on issues such as land use, nuisance, crime, transportation concerns, and more.
