Meet the Artists
Join us at Artist Reception for the annual Jurried Art Exhibit. Artists will be onsite to answer questions regarding their exhibit pieces. Artwork is for sale and the Juried show awards prizes based on categories.
This free event is open to the public and features live entertainment by local musicians and refreshments.

Be prepared to get a little dirty and to have fun by supporting and volunteering with Friends of Nadaka and Wilkes East Neighborhood Association in their efforts to restore this natural area by removing invasive underbrush and ivy from Nadaka Nature Park, part of the Columbia Slough Watershed.
Rain or Shine! Come dressed for weather and help improve Nadaka Nature Park. Bring working gloves & a water bottle if you have them. Volunteer as long as you can. Coffee, juice, water & refreshments provided by Wilkes East Neighborhood.

The Ten Toe Express program is a series of guided walks held Thursdays at 6PM and Saturdays at 9AM from May 10th through September 13th. Download your 2012 Ten Toe Express schedule here.
Each easy and informal Ten Toe Express walk explores the area neighborhood, architecture and unique history. Walk takes about 2 hours, cover 2-4 miles and are open to all ages and skill levels.

Take a step back into history at the Zimmerman House, a Victorian era farmhouse, built in 1874 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This beautiful farmhouse is a perfect reflection of typical Columbia River dairy farm life in the late 1800s. The Zimmerman Heritage Farm is a unique cultural education and recreational resource that is being created for the benefit of the public on a 5.98-acre historic site in Gresham, Oregon.

The Gresham/Mt. Hood Jazz Association is bringing back the Mt Hood Jazz Festival, launching its first Adventures in Jazz series at participating venues in Historic Downtown Gresham.
The event is free and open to the public and is supported through sponsorship. Stroll the streets of downtown Gresham, stop in at participating restaurants for a bite to eat and enjoy first-class jazz music.

The Southern Sky from Namibia
Join us as Mt Hood Community College Planetarium Director Pat Hanrahan shares stories and celestrial images from last summer's trip to Namibia in southern Africa. Near total darkness provided an opportunity to capture many incredible images from the seldom seen southern night sky.
All shows are presented under a realistic representation of the night sky, featuring the latest galactic, stellar and planetary images.
Visitors are encouraged to ask questions during each 45-minute program. Children are welcome to attend.
Parking Change
Parking permits are required and may be purchased for $3 at ticket kiosks located by the flagpoles (north parking) and gym (south parking). (Violators will be ticketed)
