The Gresham Redevelopment Commission Advisory Committee (GRDCAC) meets monthly on the second Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

The GRDCAC advises the Gresham Redevelopment Commission (GRDC) on the implementation of urban renewal plans.

The Gresham Redevelopment Commission (GRDC) meets monthly on the third Tuesday immediately following adjournment of the 3 p.m. Gresham City Council meeting.

GRDC meetings allow necessary Rockwood-West Gresham Urban Renewal business to be dealt with, such as budget adoption, grant awards, public hearings, resolutions, etc.

The Development Code Improvement Project (DCIP) is a multi-year effort designed to make the development code more usable and ensure it remains current with the needs of the community. The DCIP-8 project is comprised of a diverse group of potential development code amendments that include updates to reflect new rules, a review of design review categories, a new process for requests for reasonable accommodation under the Federal Fair Housing Act, and a determination of which rules are more appropriately located in the Gresham Revised Code.

Let's Celebrate!
Join us for the official opening of Gresham's newest natural play area and community garden on the south two acres of Nadaka Nature Park. The Audubon Society of Portland’s Education Birds will be present and teaming up with Slough School to provide environmental education. Nature play expert from ONPLAY will be demonstrating the possibilities the nature play area can provide. Public officials and project partners will be there to say a few words about Nadaka.

The event will feature free information, demonstrations and refreshments.

Plan to Attend
Mayor Shane Bemis will deliver the annual State of the City address before City Council, community leaders and citizens. A reception begins at 5:30 p.m., with the community address following at 6 p.m. The public is invitied to attend.
