The Gresham Redevelopment Commission Advisory Committee (GRDCAC) meets as needed on the second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m.

The GRDCAC advises the Gresham Redevelopment Commission (GRDC) on the implementation of Rockwood-West Gresham Urban Renewal plans.

The Historic Resources Subcommittee maintains an inventory of historic landmarks in Gresham, reviews and recommends a decision on proposed actions to alter or demolish structures on the adopted inventory, and participates in special projects and events that increase public awareness or provide education on historic preservation.

Hubble Insights and Discoveries That Have Changed Astronomy When: Fri, Apr 14, 2017 6PM-8:15PM Where: MHCC Planetarium Sky Theater 26000 SE Stark Street Get Map!

Tuesday shows are at 6 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.

New Friday shows include a matinee at 1 p.m. and an evening show at 6 p.m.

Admission is only $5.
MHCC students (with valid ID) and children 17 and under are $2.

All shows are presented under a realistic representation of the night sky, featuring the latest galactic, stellar and planetary images.

The Sky Theater is wheelchair accessible.

2016-17 MHCC Planetarium Sky Theater Schedule:

Planetarium shows are generally on the first Tuesday and on the second Friday of each month (with exceptions during November and January).

A delightful 1874 Victorian farmhouse
Take a step back into history at the Zimmerman House, a Victorian era farmhouse, built in 1874 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This beautiful farmhouse is a perfect reflection of typical Columbia River dairy farm life in the late 1800s. The Zimmerman Heritage Farm is a unique cultural education and recreational resource that is being created for the benefit of the public on a 5.98-acre historic site in Gresham, Oregon.

Free! Drop-in futsal games for boys and girls in grades 3-6, from 11 am to 1 pm Sundays in the Friends of the Children gym. Rain or shine. From time to time we all experience tough situations with our neighbors, tenants, landlords, roommates or those we work with. If these situations arent resolved they can grow into really troublesome problems. This free training will teach conflict resolution skills through communication. Participants will be actively engaged throughout the training with the help of experts that will provide coaching through hands on practice.

Meeting start time varies.

GRDC meetings allow necessary Rockwood-West Gresham Urban Renewal business to be dealt with, such as budget adoption, grant awards, public hearings, resolutions, etc.
