Doing a lot of frying this Thanksgiving?
New Seasons Market is launching a program to turn leftover Thanksgiving cooking oil into clean biofuel, and raise money for Meals on Wheels at the same time.
In partnership with SeQuential Pacific Biodiesel, New Seasons Market, 1954 SE Division St, Portland (Ladd's Addition), is offering a environmentally friendly way to dispose of kitchen grease after the holiday. As a bonus, SeQuential Pacific will donate $1 to New Season’s Meals on Wheels campaign for every gallon of cooking oil collected.

A Journey Back In Time...
The historic Zimmerman House was built in 1874 and was home to three generations of the Zimmerman Family. Their furnishings and personal articles remain in this two-story Victorian home, including children’s toys, games, Christmas postcards, and winter clothing. The third annual evening tours will be held on Tuesday, December 10th and December 17th from 3pm-8pm. We’ll have carols playing on the parlor piano, family recipes on exhibit and ginger snap cookies from the family recipe to take home.
Parking is extremely limited, so please consider car pooling. Please reserve the time you'd like to visit the House, and give yourself approximately 45 minutes to explore both floors of the home.

Admission is free, but the suggested donation for this special event is $5 per person 12 and older. Your donation helps to support our all-volunteer organization and enters you into a drawing for one of two holiday “thank you” gifts! $5.00 donation is paid at event location by cash or check, no debit/credit cards.

Alpenrose Storybook Lane

The Grotto: Festival of Lights

Veterans of any military branch and of whatever denomination are invited to a Holy Eucharist dedicated to the service these men and women gave to their country in times of both conflict and peace.
Share Your Mementos
Veterans are invited to bring mementos of their participation in the service (no firearms or weapons, please) to display at the fellowship hour following the service. Uniforms are encouraged.
