Saturn Returns
Having been next to invisible for the past two years, the rings of Saturn are now revealing their northern surface towards the Earth -- but you'll need a telescope to see them. Although Saturn's rings are estimated to be 185,000 miles wide they are also very thin -- just 30-650 ft thick.
Take a guided tour the of Saturn's return with Pat Hanrahan, an expert in celestial bodies such as planets, stars and galaxies.
