Middle school and high school youth can attend free basketball practice, skill building and game play on Friday nights at H.B. Lee Middle School, 1121 NE 172nd Ave.
- Open to boys and girls in grades 6-12
- Learn new skills, make new friends, play basketball.
- Adult supervision and mentorship provided by the Portland Opportunities Industrialization Center (POIC).
- Sponsored by the City of Gresham.
Schedule:
- 6-8 p.m. for grades 6-8
- 8-10 p.m. for grades 9-12

Join us on another great Ten Toe Express walk throughout inner-city Portland sponsored by the Portland Bureau of Transportation. The Ten Toe Express program is a series of guided walks held Thursdays @ 6PM and Saturdays @ 9AM from May 7th through September 10th 2016.
Each easy and informal Ten Toe Express walk explores the area neighborhood, architecture and unique history. Walk takes about 2 hours, cover 2-4 miles and are open to all ages and skill levels. Did we mention it's free!

Join us for a tour of the night sky where you'll whiz through universe from the comfort of your seat! 2 shows starting at 6:00PM, 7:15PM.
The Mt. Hood Community College (MHCC) Planetarium invites you enjoy another year of great public shows using their state-of-the-art digital star projection system.
Each show is presented under a realistic representation of the night sky, featuring the latest galactic, stellar and planetary images. Visitors are encouraged to ask questions during each program. Children are welcome to attend.

Take some time to learn about all the great transportation options in Gresham. Stop by our Transportation Safety Fair and Bike Rodeo at the Arts Plaza in Downtown Gresham (401 N.E. Second Street) on Saturday, May 14, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Visit our bicycle safety booths and pick up a free bicycle helmet and no-charge booster seat to qualifying families (children need to be present and helmets and seats are limited to supplies on hand). Learn to combine your bicycle trips with bus or MAX rides. Bring your bike to participate in a bike rodeo to learn and practice the rules of the road. A 2 p.m. raffle drawing will be held to giveaway a childs bike.
