Join Friends of Nadaka to to help cleanup Nadaka Nature Park. We will be removing invasive species such as English Ivy from the 10 acre forested portion of the park, weed and water the community garden and the front two acres of the park.
Tools, gloves, and light refreshments will be provided. Dress to work in natural areas: long pants, brimmed hat, and closed-toe sturdy shoes. Please bring a water bottle and a friend!
About Nadaka Nature Park

Join us on another great Ten Toe Express walk throughout inner-city Portland sponsored by the Portland Bureau of Transportation. The Ten Toe Express program is a series of guided walks held Thursdays @ 6PM and Saturdays @ 9AM from May 07th through September 19th 2015.
Each easy and informal Ten Toe Express walk explores the area neighborhood, architecture and unique history. Walk takes about 2 hours, cover 2-4 miles and are open to all ages and skill levels. Did we mention it's free!

Join us on Main Street in Historic Downtown Gresham for the exciting (and always hilarious) annual Olympic Bed Races! The bed races are a fun event where groups from local businesses and organizations race a decorated "bed" (complete with a theme and on rollers of course) to the finish line. It's a great time that's not to be missed! Come early for the best viewing spots.

August 7, 8, and 9, 2015 will be filled with music, food and fun for the entire family.
Fun Stinks!
If you like garlic this is THE event you don't want to miss! Each August, North Plains hosts its signature “World’s Largest Elephant Garlic Festival” event. Each year the garlic festival attracts thousands of visitors to the tiny town of North Plains located 19 miles west of Portland, Oregon on Hwy 26.
Admission is always free!
The three-day event to celebrate garlic and North Plains Scottish heritage begins on Friday, August 07th -- but it officially kicks-off Saturday morning with a parade of floats, marching bands and creatively costumed residents, who wave to spectators and throw candy to children along the route.
Garlic eats, crafts and garlic ice cream too!
Food vendors are required to have at least one menu item that contains Elephant Garlic. Garlic wine and garlic beer
The festival features numerous arts & crafts booths, rides for kids and lots of live jammin' blues, and blue grass music from many of the Northwest's best musicians. There's also a car show Saturday hosted by the Northwest Vintage Thunderbird Club.

Gresham’s Center for the Arts Foundation is pleased to present the six annual Music Mondays concert series. The series is presented on Monday evenings during July and August, and is supported by the City of Gresham Arts & Culture Grants and the Oregon Cultural Trust through the Multnomah County Arts Coalition. All Music Mondays concerts are free.
Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets and a picnic to enjoy a summer evening of live music.

Public welcome
The Coalition of Gresham Neighborhood Associations was formed to provide structure and support for the leadership of Gresham's neighborhood associations, enabling more effective cooperation among neighborhood associations in order to achieve desired outcomes. Goals of the Coalition include providing a public forum for the review and evaluation of issues and problems, providing education and information on specific areas such as land use, and providing a unified voice for the neighborhood associations.
The Coalition meets monthly on the second Tuesday at 7:00PM
