Join the Audubon Society and Friends of Nadaka for a family-friendly, guided bird walk, open to both beginners and advanced bird watchers. This is a great opportunity to brush up on birding and identification basics.
Bring binoculars if you have them; otherwise, we will have some for you to borrow.

Join us for a tour of the night sky where you'll whiz through universe from the comfort of your seat! 2 shows starting at 6:00PM, 7:15PM.
The Mt. Hood Community College (MHCC) Planetarium invites you enjoy another year of great public shows using their state-of-the-art digital star projection system.
Each show is presented under a realistic representation of the night sky, featuring the latest galactic, stellar and planetary images. Visitors are encouraged to ask questions during each program. Children are welcome to attend.

Senior Healthy Hikers: Troutdale, Glenn Otto Park, and Lewis and Clark Park Hike: Thu Dec 03, 2015 9AM-5PM

Walk the Lower SandyWhen: Wed Dec 03, 2015 9AM-5PM |
This is a 3.5-mile hike that starts at Lewis and Clark Park, where we will walk the park’s nature trail and see where ancient floods exposed a 160-foot-high volcanic cliff. Next we will drive over to Glenn Otto Park and hike its nature trails along the Sandy River. From Glenn Otto Park, we will take a short walk up to downtown Troutdale. We will stop at an Italian restaurant in Troutdale for lunch, and after lunch we will walk back to our cars. Bring along a snack and water. Hiking boots are recommended, because we will be walking on some nature trails, and they may be muddy.

- Difficulty: Moderate
- Elevation gain: 200 feet
- Suggested donation per hiker: $1

Haven't you heard? Santa Claus is taking time out of his busy schedule to drop by the Gresham History Museum to take photos with our visitors!
The Museum will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m for photos with Santa and a Christmas Card workshop. Cider and cookies will be served.

Journey Back In Time
The historic Zimmerman House was built in 1874 and was home to three generations of the Zimmerman Family. Their furnishings and personal articles remain in this two-story Victorian home, including children’s toys, games, Christmas postcards, and winter clothing. This annual evening tour will be held on Tuesday, December 8th and December 10th from 2pm-7pm.
Please reserve the time you’d like to visit the house, and give yourself approximately 45 minutes to explore both floors of this heritage home.
Parking is extremely limited, so please consider carpooling.
Admission is free, but the suggested donation for this special event is $5 per person for ages 18 and older.

The Market is a collaboration of Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon’s Interfaith Food & Farms Partnership and the Rockwood Co-op.
