Catherine Creek is a popular and beautiful area on the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge. We will hike the upper part of the area first, which is about three miles. After returning to the cars, we will enjoy our lunches. There are no tables. After lunch, we will walk the lower part of the area, which is a paved trail with great views and usually lots of flowers. Bring snacks, water and lunch. We recommend long pants, boots/shoes with sturdy soles and poles. This area is exposed to weather, so dress accordingly. Be prepared for ticks, snakes and poison oak.
