In order to protect public health, safety, and welfare during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Gresham Design Commission will meet remotely at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, Jan. 20, via Zoom.

People wishing to provide oral comments during this Design Commission meeting must register at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting by sending their name, email, phone number, and the subject matter of their comment to Jamie Thomes at Jamie.Thomes@GreshamOregon.gov. Written comments, including photo or other evidence, must be submitted at least 24 hours before the meeting. Persons who desire to provide comments and are unable to provide written comments in advance or are otherwise unable to access the meeting via Zoom are encouraged to contact Jamie Thomes as soon as possible, but at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting so that the City can provide alternate arrangements.

The Design Commission is the primary advising subcommittee to the City Council on design excellence for the built environment of the city.

The Commission assists in the development and application of design standards and guidelines, and will conduct hearings as necessary to ensure that proposed public and private projects achieve these standards.
