The Mt. Hood Community College (MHCC) Planetarium invites you enjoy another year of great public shows using their state-of-the-art digital star projection system.

Each show is presented under a realistic representation of the night sky, featuring the latest galactic, stellar and planetary images. Visitors are encouraged to ask questions during each program. Children are welcome to attend.

We hope you'll join us at the second annual Gresham Green and Clean Day of Service. This year, our efforts will focus on restoring natural habitat at project sites throughout the City.
The City is sponsoring a large cleanup and restoration effort in the Grant Butte Wetlands area along the Gresham Fairview Trail. In addition, the City is partnering with the Johnson Creek Watershed Council as part of their annual Watershed Wide event on projects at:

Help support Johnson Creek Watershed Council's 17th annual Watershed-Wide Event. This large-scale community day of volunteerism brings together hundreds of volunteers at work sites that span the whole length of the Johnson Creek watershed- with events in Boring, Gresham, Southeast Portland, Milwaukie, and Sellwood. Saturday, March 7th from 9 am to 12pm.
Join us at the Fairview Creek Headwaters at the base of Grant Butte for removal of invasive Himalayan blackberry and native planting along the Gresham-Fairview Trail.
This event is suitable for all ages.

The Coalition of Gresham Neighborhood Associations was formed to provide structure and support for the leadership of Gresham's neighborhood associations, enabling more effective cooperation among neighborhood associations in order to achieve desired outcomes. Goals of the Coalition include providing a public forum for the review and evaluation of issues and problems, providing education and information on specific areas such as land use, and providing a unified voice for the neighborhood associations.
The Coalition meets monthly on the second Tuesday at 7:00PM

A delightful 1874 Victorian farmhouse
Take a step back into history at the Zimmerman House, a Victorian era farmhouse, built in 1874 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This beautiful farmhouse is a perfect reflection of typical Columbia River dairy farm life in the late 1800s. The Zimmerman Heritage Farm is a unique cultural education and recreational resource that is being created for the benefit of the public on a 5.98-acre historic site in Gresham, Oregon.

Amphibians and reptiles represent a major component of ecosystems, and being an indicator species can tell us a lot about the health of our own environment. However, human activities have led to their decline and a disruption to the balance of our natural ecology. Meet us at the Gresham Meadowlands for an exciting and engaging class on herpetology, where we will be learning how to identify our native amphibians & reptiles, their life cycle, habitat requirements, and the monitoring techniques we apply in Gresham!
This event is free and suitable for all ages.

This will be a five-mile hike in the Columbia River Gorge east of White Salmon, Wash. We should see wildflowers and beautiful views of the river and mountains. Please bring lunch to eat on the trail. There is a new trailhead here, with ample parking and restrooms. You will need hiking boots and long pants, as there are ticks and poison oak along the trail. Walking poles are also recommended.
- Round-trip travel: 120 miles
- Difficulty: Strenuous
- Elevation gain: 1,200 feet
- Suggested donation per hiker: $12
