Take a step back into history at the Zimmerman House, a Victorian era farmhouse, built in 1874 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This beautiful farmhouse is a perfect reflection of typical Columbia River dairy farm life in the late 1800s. The Zimmerman Heritage Farm is a unique cultural education and recreational resource that is being created for the benefit of the public on a 5.98-acre historic site in Gresham, Oregon.

• Sponsored by the City of Gresham.

Free drop-in futsal games for boys and girls in grades 3-6 will take place from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sundays in the Friends of the Children gym. Rain or shine.

Supervised play is provided by Active Children Portland volunteers. This activity is sponsored by the City of Gresham.

A signed waiver is required to participate.

The day after Thanksgiving, thousands of Portlanders will gather at the Square to celebrate the lighting of the spectacular 75ft Tree provided by Stimson Lumber Company. This beloved community tradition will feature a holiday sing-a-long with Thomas Lauderdale and members of Pink Martini, the NW Community Gospel Choir, and friends! Come and Join the Fun! When: Sat, Nov 25, 2017 5PM-6:30PM Where: Arts Plaza 401 NE Second St. Get Map!

The 26th Annual Spirit of Christmas tree lighting one of the communitys most popular events rings in Greshams holiday season with a family-friendly program that includes music, photos with Santa, refreshments and the lighting of the 60-foot Ponderosa pine on the Arts Plaza.

This free, jolly holiday event is on Saturday, Nov. 25. Watch for fun activities beforehand in Historic Downtown in the afternoon leading up to the tree lighting festivities on the Arts Plaza from 5:00 - 6:30 pm. The tree is lit at 6:00 pm.

Do you have clothes and other fabrics that need mending? Bring them to this workshop and learn how to repair them. Volunteers experienced in sewing will demonstrate how to repair items and then provide guidance while you repair your own. Sewing machines and hand-sewing supplies will be available, but if you want something specific for your repair (like matching thread, button, zipper, etc.), please try to bring those supplies.
