 <em>Friends of Nadaka</em> Nelson property working group will meet May 30\, 2012 9AM-11\:30AM at St Aidan's Episcopal  Church\, 174th &amp\; NE Glisan. Public welcome to attend.</p>
 <p><em>Friends of Nadaka</em> and it's community partners are working to secure funding to develop the approved Nelson Master Plan which includes a community garden area\, orchard\, rain garden\, berry patches\, naturescaping and more. When complete\, the Nelson properry will join Nadaka Nature Park <em>(adjacent directly north)</em> as a unified neighborhood park.</p>

 <p><strong>Greet the Morning</strong><br />
 Join Jim Labbe with the <a href=\\"http\://audubonportland.org/\\">Audubon Society of Portland</a> and Lee Dayfield with <a href=\\"http\://friendsofnadaka.org/\\" target=\\"_blank\\">Friends of Nadaka</a> for a morning stroll through <a href=\\"http\://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&amp\;ie=UTF-8&amp\;rlz=1T4GGLL_enUS391US392&amp\;q=Nadaka+Nature+Park%2c+Gresham+OR\\" target=\\"_blank\\">Nakada Nature Park</a> in West Gresham on Thursday\, May 31st at 7\:30AM.<br />
 We’ll explore the natural and human history of this unique neighborhood nature park and learn about efforts afoot to expand the park\, improve access and environmental interpretation\, and enhance its wildlife habitat. We’ll also begin the documenting of bird species inhabiting the park and discuss the value of urban natural areas to avian biodiversity.</p>
