Event Details
A community forum to discuss approaches to addressing residential compatibility issues is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec 9th, at the City Hall Conference Center.
Based on previous input the City of Gresham Planning staff has developed approaches to addressing the following issues:

Compatible? Share your opinion.

  • Height and bulk of new homes
  • Flag lots (homes built behind other homes)
  • Buffering and screening between developments
  • Transitions (such as between single-family homes and more intense uses such as commercial uses, apartments or condominiums)
  • Fencing along streets at the edge of subdivisions
  • How subdivisions with lots less than 6,000 square feet are reviewed
  • Miscellaneous Code issues

Your ideas and comments about these approaches are needed and welcome.
Take an active roll in your community. Plan to attend.
